Panoula

Noula was born in Athens, Greece (1981). She graduated as a Chemist (2004) from the National University of Athens and received her MSc in Organic Chemistry from the National University of Athens (December 2006), working with Dr. Dimitris Georgiadis in the enantioselective synthesis of RXPA380, a phosphinic C-selective inhibitor of angiotensin-I converting enzyme.

After she was awarded with a NCSR “Demokritos” scholarship (Fall 2006), she joined Dr. Dionisios Vourloumis' research group at the Institute of Physical Chemistry in NCSR “Demokritos” as a graduate student working for her PhD thesis in the team project “Exploration of RNA components by the synthesis of small molecules”. (Academic supervisor: Professor Athanasios Yiotakis, National University of Athens).
